New Slender Game in Development
Parsec Productions’ Slender is a simple game. It drops you into a nighttime forest and challenges you to find eight pages scattered around the environment while a terrifying soundtrack builds and an incomprehensible horror follows you. Few games do such a great job of so quickly and directly generating a sense of terror. Hopefully the new Slender, called The Arrival, can match up.
This next version, a collaboration between Parsec Productions and Blue Isle Studios, is a re-imagining of Slender with better visuals, additional levels and apparently even a storyline. Hopefully the additions don’t cloud the sense of dread so powerfully evoked by the first game.
